Using Strong Processes to Counter Emerging Cyber Threats
Information
Security is establishing its place among the chief of concerns at the
executive level. Information Security is widely recognized as a
strategic discipline, requiring formal and holistic processes. These
processes and the technologies they rely on are subject to change and
enhancement, given the evolving nature of threats and risks to the
enterprise.
What are Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and their information security personnel to do when facing the evolving threat landscape and, simultaneously, demands from enterprise leaders (and customers) to achieve the highest levels of integrity, confidentiality, and availability? Experienced CISOs understand these challenges and rise above them to achieve organizational objectives and operational excellence. They seek out the latest and greatest in point solutions, while enhancing and evolving their processes to pivot and adjust to the evolving threat landscape.

Biography:

Jay Leek, CISM, CISA, CISSP
Jay
is a Managing Director and the Chief Information Security Officer for
Blackstone since joining in May 2012 where he also oversees the
Blackstone Portfolio Company Information Risk & Security Community.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Jay established, built and headed up global
information risk and security programs for Equifax and Nokia. Over the
past 20 years, Jay has also worked as a product manager as well as a
consultant to numerous telecom companies, government agencies and
financial institutions assisting them with business development,
strategic planning and architectural design required to meet their
information risk and security objectives. He also acts as an industry
advisor for information security organizations and government agencies,
and he currently serves as a Board Director for Optiv Security, RedOwl
Analytics, CyberGRX and the NY Metro ISSA Chapter, Board Observer for
Cylance and Phantom Cyber and on the Advisory Board for iSIGHT Partners
and Risk IO.
Brian Lozada, CISSP
Brian Lozada, CISSP
Brian
is the Chief Information Security Officer for ZocDoc. Previously,
Brian was the Chief Information Security Officer for Abacus Group, the
largest cloud provider within the financial services sector. He was
responsible for the development and maintenance of Abacus’s information
security program. Prior to joining Abacus, Brian was Chief Information
Security Officer at Condé Nast, where he was responsible for overseeing
the security and risk management for all digital and technology
operations. He led the company’s integration of information security
efforts in the development of next-generation digital products and
services. Brian has held several senior information security management
positions at Sony Music Entertainment, and Vonage. He is CISSP certified
and has a B.S. in Information Security and an M.S. in Homeland Security
from Monmouth University. With over 15 years of experience developing
and maintaining information security programs for some of the world’s
top brands, his vision and drive have been instrumental in promoting
information security within any business workflow across several
industries.
Keith O’Sullivan
Keith
is the Global Head (CISO) and VP of information Security for Time Inc.
In this capacity, Keith leads the strategic Information Security
direction for one of the largest branded media companies in the world.
The Time Inc. brand reaches more than 140 million people each month
across multiple print and digital platforms. Keith has over 15 years of
Information Security experience and is a thought leader in his field.
Keith's expertise and knowledge spans many Information Security
disciplines including emerging defense in-depth technologies, innovative
cloud security solutions and Intelligence surrounding insider threats.
Keith's security leadership supports innovative DevSecOps models and
building diverse security teams in many industries including media,
