 Synopsis:

Effective Communication for Project Success
... and a Proven Structuring Tool to Get It Right

We’ve all seen redesign and process improvement efforts go over-budget, fall behind schedule, or even completely fail – all due to poor communication.  There is a tool that can help prevent these problems.  According to the Project Management Institute’s “Pulse of the Profession,” 56% percent of a project’s budget is at risk due to poor communications, and highly effective communicators are more than 5 times more likely to be high performers than minimally effective communicators.

In this presentation, Gordon Adelsberg and Ravi Bhatia (founders of Communications for Geeks
®) will discuss the value of communication skills in advancing your career. They will also share a simple, yet very effective, structure that can be used to outline an executive summary, a message to stakeholders or a formal presentation to senior management.  Participants will learn how important it is to communicate their ideas effectively, along with a proven structuring tool they can use the next day at work.
