Synopsis:

Sprint Zero: Make Your Team Productive From the Start

Following the evolution of software development, from Waterfall to Iterative to Agile, recent thinking has begun to consider how to improve methodologies like Scrum. Why do we find them hard to scale? What are the limitations of refactoring? How do you deal with architectural consistency? How do you deal with program coordination with complex dependencies?

 Biography:

Peter Morales is currently the Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Officer for CIEE, the world leader in educational exchange programs. Peter also has taught management courses at NYU, St. Francis College and the Research Foundation at CUNY.
Peter has held senior technology leadership roles at NYU, the NYSE, and SIAC. He started his career in the defense world developing diagnostic and information systems for platforms including the F18.

Peter holds a Doctorate in Computer Science, a Masters in Management Science and an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
